Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls

"This is a recipe given to me by way of my aunt. The rolls are first rate!"

Ingredients :

  • 2 half of cups warm milk
  • four teaspoons active dry yeast
  • half cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 7 cups all-motive flour, or as needed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions :

  • Pour milk into a large mixing bowl, and sprinkle yeast over the surface. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Beat in the sugar, eggs, half cup butter, and salt; combo very well. Gradually stir within the flour to make a smooth dough. Cover bowl, and set in a heat place until dough doubles in length, approximately 1 hour.
  • Punch down the dough, cover the bowl, and allow to upward thrust again. Repeat this step extra times.
  • Break off 2 to a few inch size pieces of dough, roll lightly into round form, and location in organized baking dish, edges touching. Repeat to make 36 dough balls. Cover and permit upward thrust until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 400 stages F (2 hundred levels C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake rolls in preheated oven till tops flip golden brown, 10 to fifteen minutes. When rolls are completed baking, drizzle melted butter over the top, and serve warm.
